How to transfer MAC contacts to Nokia Lumia 520
My iPhone 4 died after many years of service and I bought as a temporary quick fix.
Now how I sync:
1) my contacts are saved on my mac (remember my iPhone is dead, no bluetooth transfer here...)
2) this app exported the contacts as http://address-book-to-csv-exporter.en.softonic.com/mac CSV
3) NOW where I was going wrong - this CSV has to be hand edited - open in excel, leave just 3 columns - first name, last name and mobile (if it has a different name rename)
4) Open a hotmail account, add the edited CSV into contacts
5) Sync the hotmail with your phone
The whole afternoon wasted but I managed to get there!
I should have bought a second hand iPhone...
UPDATE:
My iPhone mysteriously returned to life and Lumia was returned to the shop - it's a very very bad phone imho...
